THE BRICK HOUSE

BUILT : 1948
LOCATION : Whitefish Bay, WI

This addition builds on the cubist forms of a 1948 postwar modern home, replacing outdated alterations with simple, clean volumes that allow the original brick structure to take center stage. The reimagined plan introduces an enlarged kitchen, pantry, new family room, and second-floor in-law suite, bringing new life and flexibility to the home while strengthening its original modern character.
